Bridging Ambitions
Connecting You to Your Future
In the first few years after graduation, you may feel disconnected from the camaraderie and support you had while in college, while not yet certain of how you fit into the world.
The Bridging Ambitions Group Mentorship is designed to build a bridge to confidently cross over as it addresses the challenges faced by recent graduates.
The Bridging Ambitions™️ Group Mentorship curriculum is customized to meet the needs identified during interviews with recent graduates regarding the following areas
transition to the workforce
Adjusting to the professional environment, building a professional network, and understanding workplace expectations are common challenges.
career uncertainty
Difficulty in aligning your skills and interests with available job opportunities, leading to impostor syndrome and career indecision.
mental wellness challenges
The transition from college to the workforce, financial pressures, and the competitive job market as those things contribute to mental health concerns including stress, anxiety, and depression.
The Bridging Ambitions™️ Group Mentorship provides invaluable mental wellness training and life navigation skills while creating a cohesive network to rely on in the future
objectives:
-
Build a foundation for mental wellness by developing mindset skills for self-esteem, confidence, resilience, happiness, and self-leadership so graduates can be prepared to thrive in life.
-
Proactively develop resilience and coping skills to navigate life’s disappointments, manage change, move past mistakes, minimize worries, overcome fear, and move through life empowered.
-
Develop empowering mindset skills through training, discussion, and activities so that graduates learn and are able to apply essential life navigation skills to your life.
-
Love and honor yourself, respect yourself and others, make good decisions and stand up to peer pressure, feel confident to try new things, and set and achieve goals to create a life you love.
-
Establish a robust network within the mentorship cohort, fostering connections to refine your skills, engage in meaningful practice, and forge enduring, lifelong relationships.
-
Lower the resistance you may have about obtaining support for mental health challenges such as self- esteem, confidence, shyness, worries, fear, change, and social issues.
